How Do I Start a Side Hustle?

The term side hustle dates back to the 1950’s and why it has had different definitions, they all share making money. Side hustles are very prevalent in the Gen X and Millennial generations. As the costs of life continue to rise, very few people make enough money from one job to sustain their way of living.  

You’ve been probably thinking the same thing; I’d like to make some extra money, but have no clue where to even start. You’ve probably been told the same thing as everybody else; start a YouTube page, become an Insta Influencer, do TikTok. Or perhaps, more realistically, drive an Uber or just get a second job. 

All of that can be very challenging for a variety of reasons and perhaps, not even feasible. 

Here at Blootopia, we are aiming to change that. We want you to monetize that passion. In our spare time, there is something that we enjoy doing. Whatever it is, I am positive there is someone out there who wants to learn it or perfect it. 

Take the person who is a Dungeon Master in the board game Dungeons and Dragons. You might not think that is a skill, but that's probably because you’ve never played. To be a Dungeon Master, you need organization skill, a wild imagination, creativity, writing skills, excellent communication/oral skills…just to name a few. You may not know that there are over 50 million players who all have watched more than 4.3 billion minutes of videos. 

I know there are people out there who want to learn to become a great Dungeon Master, but have nowhere to go to learn. I also know that there are millions of passionate Dungeon Masters out there who would love the idea of getting paid to share their passion in playing Dungeons and Dragons.
